I continue to think about the people who have made the largest impact on my life, the people who have showed me the difference between living, and expiriencing. I cant get over the kindness some people carry within, how although the cards are stacked against them they continue to smile, and share their own happiness with those who need it most. He's always happy, and always manages to make me scream his name louder than anyone else I ever call out to. I cant help but remember the time he gave away these tiny hot wheel cars in Haiti to all the hungry children, he didnt give food, but he gave happiness. He took the shirt off his back, and expirienced what it was like to give, give whole heartedly.
We met in a CP World History 1 class, and we've been friends ever since. I planned to marry him when I was 40, single and desperate, it was a promise we made to eachother, and Im holding him to it. We had a secret handshake, that soon we will have to update. But all that is in the past, when we were young. Now, he has become part of the select number of people I know could never do any harm to me. He isnt my best friend, but he is a friend. I'm not in love with him, but someday someone will be, and they are lucky. He's an amazing human being, and one of the few examples that help me keep faith in this species.
That's what I think of you Pete Lynch.
